From personal experience and my work in hospice as an end-of-life doula, I am no stranger to the emotions and challenges that arise during this time. I am honored to help dogs and their families navigate this season in the most peaceful and soulful way possible.
Every person and dog processes loss and grief in their own way, and every situation is unique. Sometimes the need is a compassionate presence that listens without judgment. Sometimes it is a second set of ears (and notetaking) at veterinary visits. Your dog can benefit greatly from energy medicine such as Reiki and Acupressure during this time, and Animal Communication can be deeply supportive.
Dogs love us beyond human capacity, and our senior dogs have spent their lives giving unconditional love. The greatest gift we can give in return is to be fully present, honor their process, and make sure they feel seen, heard, and respected. I am 100 percent here for that.
